Jennifer Lopez Is SLAYING Her History-Making Campaign for Guess
Jennifer Lopez can now add “Guess Jeans model” to her already extensive repertoire! Last month, the 48-year-old singer/dancer/actress/philanthropist was tapped as the face of the company’s spring 2018 campaign, making her the oldest Guess Girl in brand history. Now, the pics are here, proving once and for all that age ain’t nothing but a number.
Jenny from the Block appears to be a bodycon jumpsuit and embellished pumps while perched on a stool, with her killer curves were on full display. The “Amor, Amor, Amor” singer is also seen holding a microphone…because, JLo.
In the next shot, the New York-born beauty wears a classic tied white V-neck blouse, spiked stilettos, a black belt, and itty bitty gingham shorts, looking every bit as gorge as beauties such as Gigi Hadid, Claudia Schiffer, Paris Hilton, and Anna Nicole Smith did before her.
It was a dream come true for the mother of two, who said via statement that it was a “tremendous compliment to have been selected for GUESS’ Spring 2018 campaign. When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to be the new Guess girl, I was thrilled and excited to be part of an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,” she quipped.
Needless to say, the fashion brand loves JLo right back; co-founder Paul Marciano praised the pop icon as “a GUESS Girl’s dream,” noting that she is “an accomplished artist, she is iconic, and sensual. Jennifer’s impact and influence continue to grow and this campaign celebrates the notion that women get more beautiful and talented as they gain life experience,” he said. “Her beauty and class shine through this campaign.” We’ll say!
The denim brand’s spring collection officially launches in February 2018, but we’re hoping they reveal a few more sneak peeks before then — this just might be one of our favorite GUESS campaigns ever!
