De Rigo hits 40

WMIDO

“The 40 years of De Rigo represent my life. Our company is one that is family-run, having a bond with the local area and its people”. It is with these words that Ennio De Rigo, who was recently honoured with the Order of Merit for Labour, welcomed his guests at a truly special evening celebrating 40 years of De Rigo doing business. Ennio De Rigo, founder and chairman of the group, was very keen for this event to be organised. He was supported with great enthusiasm by his wife Emiliana, and his children Massimo and Barbara, his son-in-law Maurizio Dessolis, and long-standing CEO of the company Michele Aracri were also by his side. In July, he wanted all the people who, with their continued commitment, contribute to the group’s success on a daily basis to be around him. The company is unique in its ability to bridge the gap between its family and managerial aspects, and in 40 years the group – that ended 2017 with a consolidated turnover of 429.5 million euro, a 5.5% increase from the previous year – has been able to develop its own business with a global vision, whilst maintaining a genuine bond with the local area and its people.
