We know them for the chic look and comfort of their shoes, but footwear company Tod’s has embarked on a new adventure for this year’s Milan Design Week. In addition to launching a new shoe with designer Young Bae Seok, the brand has also collaborated with Studio Andrea Caputo on an installation titled “No_Code Shelter: Stories of Contemporary Life.” The project features various dwellings that visitors can explore, with names like “Casamance,” “Museum,” “Pitched Hut,” “Persian Camp” and “Yurt.” The installations, on display until Sunday at Spazio Cavallerizze at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, serve to examine the theme of hybridisation of shelter and sustainability.
