Dior and LVMH-Marcolin joint venture Thélios have agreed a deal to manufacture and distribute Dior eyewear around the world.

The first collection of Dior glasses eyewear with Thélios will be launched in January 2021 for the spring/summer season and will be available to buy in Dior stores worldwide.

The brands said that the partnership ‘marks a decisive step for the company, which has become a major player in eyewear expertise for the houses of the LVMH group.

‘This partnership with Dior is the achievement of an ambitious vision within a fast-growing market, with Thélios becoming an emblem of high-quality eyewear both in production and distribution.’

The Dior eyewear licence was previously held by Safilo.
