RIMOWA LAUNCHES A LINE OF SUNGLASSES
Rimowa sunglasses: the German manufacturer of high-end suitcases owned by LVMH enters the eyewear segment.
After the many prestigious collaborations of recent years, in particular with Fendi , Supreme , Off-White and Dior and again Moncler , Anti socia club; we are used to associating Rimowa with its extraordinary suitcases. But now the German brand has decided to take advantage of its recent relaunch to broaden its horizons with the first eyewear collection .
BRIDGE, RIM AND AIR THE NEW RIMOWA GLASSES
The brand, led by Alexandre Arnault , has recently presented Rimowa's debut in the eyewear sector with a line that includes two sunglasses and one prescription frame.
The models, called Bridge, Rim and Air , try to resume the same values of the company. Therefore focusing on the impeccable manufacture and on an aesthetic that is based on the concept of travel.

Rimowa's first eyewear collection will be visible from 9 July in some of its selected stores and on its e-shop.

THÉLIOS WILL PRODUCE THE NEW LINE OF GLASSES
" Thélios will manufacture and distribute Rimowa glasses ," says a spokesman for the joint venture specializing in eyewear created in 2018 by LVMH in partnership with the Venetian manufacturer Marcolin . The company, whose manufacture is located in the Belluno district of eyewear , in Longarone, has taken over the management of the eyewear collections of the main fashion houses of the French luxury giant.
In addition to Rimowa , Thélios also manages the design, production and distribution of sunglasses and optical frames of the brands Celine , Loewe , Kenzo , Fred and Berluti , and will also take care of the Dior eyewear lines, previously made licensed by Safilo . The first collection will be unveiled in January 2021 .
Rimowa should first debut in sunglasses, later completing its offer with frames for eyeglasses, through two unisex lines. The models will be sold at prices ranging from 230 to 310 euros.
