Pulse Star Jeneil Campaigns For TOM FORD Beauty

Perennial beauty and Pulse star Jeneil Williams is the face of the latest TOM FORD Beauty campaign. Williams shows off the new line of make-up in a series of films and photos which highlight her rich complexion and complement the brand’s wicked array of lipsticks for the season.

For Williams, who gave birth to a baby girl in July, this is a huge honour. Her daughter will, one day, be able to reflect not only on her mother’s longevity in the business but also her strong association with beauty brands like TOM FORD. “It’s great to work for TOM FORD Beauty. Tom is such a huge name in fashion and models love to work for him,” says Williams.

Her first outing for the cosmetics line was in 2019. Ford, the former creative director at Gucci and Yves St Laurent, launched his own label which spans men’s and women’s wear, perfumes and beauty products in 2006.

Williams, the first Caribbean model to receive a contract with L’Oréal, the world’s largest cosmetics company, was the face of L’Oréal Paris’ global campaign in 2015. Having been featured in the first all-black edition of Vogue magazine, she was among a set of top models at the forefront of shaking up the industry in a push to get more black girls equal opportunities for the best jobs in fashion. She has also had the distinction of appearing on the cover of Vogue twice, and the magazine declared Williams one of two models from Pulse among the ‘5 black models from Jamaica who changed the face of fashion’.

STAYING POWER

Still spotlighting her importance in the global space, Williams was selected for the cover of a book titled Supreme Models which features black models who have been pioneers in the business. The breadth of Williams’ work is testament to her beauty and staying power in an industry often focused on the ‘next’ new face. Her images appear across an extensive rage of beauty and fashion products and she has worked for a virtual A-Z of fashion clients. Altazurra, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Lanvin, Luis Vuitton Jean Paul Gaultier, Nike, Zac Posen and a multitude of others are among her advertising and campaign clients, and her list of magazine editorials and covers include Vogue, i-D (twice) , Love, Flare, French, BMN and the Wall Street Journal.

Jeneil was discovered in Pulse’s Caribbean Model Search and has been a formidable force in world modelling since then. New works featuring Williams in high fashion fitness gear are due to be launched in magazine in autumn.
