Adidas and Stella McCartney Prep for Winter With New Terrex Hiking Boots

Adidas and Stella McCartney are taking stylish steps into winter, thanks to their latest shoe release.

Launching on Oct. 12, the duo’s new women’s $250 ASMC x Terrex hiking boots feature a round-toed silhouette with warmth and comfort in mind. The style includes water-repellent synthetic paneled uppers, which are fully lined with Cold.Rdy insulation. For a secure finish, the shoe is cinched by woven striped laces set atop thick rubber outsoles.

A retro finish is given by McCartney and Adidas‘ circular logos on each counter, as well.

In tandem with McCartney’s own passion for sustainability, the Terrex boots include recycled EVA foam midsoles — whose composition comes from 10% production waste-based materials. Overall, the shoe includes a minimum of 50% natural, renewable and vegan materials as well, per its description on Adidas’ website.

Where color palettes are concerned, McCartney and Adidas’ Terrex boots come in three colorways. The first features black, gray and dark purple uppers with lavender trim, while the second includes a black base with uppers in hues of red, orange and golden yellow. The final iteration features a light gray, black and dusky off-white palette, complete with black and pale purple trim.

McCartney and Adidas’ launch of the Terrex boots is their latest shoe release together, following the chunky Sportswear Run dropped in spring 2023. The pair have been collaborators since McCartney began her co-branded line with Adidas in 2005, having released numerous sneakers, slides and more shoes over their 18 years together.
