Italian eyewear house Marcolin has revealed the latest Zegna Eyewear Collection, said to complement the brand’s “reimagined” style code.
With an eye on innovation, the frames feature natural tones and colours to pay tribute to the Oasi Zegna nature park, the brand’s home in Northern Italy.
Envisaged by Ermenegildo Zegna Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, the collection embodies the “contemporary functionality” of the Zegna Summer Fashion Show, featuring utilitarian workwear and technical details.
According to Marcolin, the Zegna frames take inspiration from the brand’s “reimagined grammar of style”, which includes tailoring, leisurewear and activewear. The collection includes classic, casual and sporty frames and is available globally in Zegna boutiques and selected optical stores.
Highlighted is the EZ0209 style, a square frame with an acetate front, double bridge and side spoilers formed in a single moulding process.
The rims are transparent and the Zegna logo features on the temples. The style is available in various colours, paired with tone-on-tone lenses and includes a frame with photochromatic lenses.
