Celine Unveils Reebok Partnership in Spring 2027 Men’s Show
The distressed collection of Reebok Freestyle sneakers marks Celine's first sneaker partnership.

Celine subtly unveiled a partnership with Reebok as part of the luxury brand’s men’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection, which was showcased on the last day of men’s Paris Fashion Week on Sunday — marking Celine’s first sneaker partnership to date.

The collection presented by creative director Michael Rider included a reinvention of Reebok‘s Freestyle sneaker, showcasing it in distressed lambskin leather in colorways included white, dark brown and black. The Freestyle sneaker was introduced in 1982, a landmark style as the first athletic shoe created especially for women.
The footwear in the collection is wide-ranging, with several styles beyond sneakers involved. Miles Socha wrote in a review for WWD, “What was so exhilarating about his show was the range of silhouettes and attitudes, which was echoed in the footwear. Rider’s lace-up ballet shoes for men have been hugely influential, and here was a new array of ultra-flat, slipper-like shoes and boots, banged-up sneakers, earthy sandals and killer two-tone monk straps.”

The tie-up with Reebok is a milestone moment for Celine, a label that only sparingly unites with other brands. In another example of the rare occurrence, the brand worked with Master & Dynamic to create headphones together that debuted in a spring 2024 show.
Still new to Celine, this marked Michael Rider’s first menswear show for the brand. He made his Celine debut on July 6 last year with a coed collection for spring 2026 which took place between men’s fashion week in Paris and Paris Couture Week.
