WWD breaks down those fashion moments and more ahead.

Charli XCX joined the likes of Katy Perry and Lucy Freyer in revisiting Roberto Cavalli’s early-2000s archives. The “360” artist wore a design from the fall 2005 collection, a gilded dark gold gown with a bevy of black florals running down the ruched front of the bodice. Feather detailing accentuated the high front slit and hemline. Charli added a pair of pointed-toe Christian Louboutin pumps to complete the look, which was styled by Chris Horan.

Tracee Ellis Ross opted for quiet luxury with a dose of modern elegance in her Michael Kors fall 2026 ready-to-wear dress. The muted beige, sleeveless gown featured a boxy bodice and a defined waist and flowing A-line skirt. She also carried a Michael Kors clutch and accessorized with silver statement earrings.

Greta Lee went for cool tones in a LII spring 2027 design. The “Past Lives” actress’ dress was strapless with a column silhouette and thigh-high slit. Paired with pointed-toe white satin pumps, the two-tone design was complemented by a Tiffany & Co. statement necklace. Lee was styled by Danielle Goldberg.

Cynthia Erivo gave dark glamour a tailored element in her Cong Tri spring 2026 dress paired with a vintage fall 1997 Dior jacket. While the satin Cong Tri gown cascaded down Erivo’s frame and flowed to the red carpet to a puddle of fabric that created a short train, the jacket added a dose of structured contrast. Erivo was styled by Jason Bolden.

Charlize Theron brought a pop of color to the gala in her emerald fringe dress from Givenchy by Sarah Burton’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection. The sleeveless halter dress featured a bevy of flowing wisps fabric. Theron also wore Givenchy by Sarah Burton’s statement heels with oversize pom-pom embellishments. The Oscar-winning actress completed her look with earrings by Jessica McCormack. Stylist Leslie Fremar curated Theron’s attire.
The Airbnb.org Gala highlights the independent nonprofit arm of Airbnb’s operations, providing housing to those impacted by natural disasters and beyond. Wednesday night marked the inaugural event for the charity.
