Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman opted for French luxury fashion in looks by Givenchy and Schiaparelli on Wednesday night for the New York City premiere of their new Apple TV series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”

Fanning turned to Givenchy’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, wearing a pinstripe suit with a burst of color thanks to a maroon neckerchief that complemented the contrasting dark navy colorway. The suit was crafted with power dressing in mind, featuring a wide-leg trouser and a double-breasted, slightly oversized blazer with sharp lapels and rounded shoulders.

Designed by creative director Sarah Burton, the look debuted in March as part of Paris Fashion Week. Miles Socha described the collection as full of “menswear fabrics, velvet, animal prints, kimono silks, lace, silver bullion and wild furry textures” in WWD’s review of the collection, writing that Burton orchestrated “it all with a sure hand.”

Fanning completed her look with Cartier jewelry pieces. The “Sentimental Value” Oscar nominee’s attire was curated by stylist Samantha McMillen.

Kidman favored Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her look. Styled by Jason Bolden, the Oscar-winning actress wore a coordinated long-sleeve top and skirt set with ornate black and white fabric design and sheer elements.

Schiaparelli’s fall collection also debuted during Paris Fashion Week in March. Curated by creative director Daniel Roseberry, the collection “explored the power of clothing to transform its wearer into a warrior, if only on the cocktail circuit,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

The actress coordinated the look with a pair of Gianvito Rossi sandal pumps and added an Omega watch to her look. Kidman serves as a global brand ambassador for Omega.

Fanning and Kidman star in the series adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” which follows the titular character, a young single mother, who creates an OnlyFans account to make ends meet and support herself and her child. Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman costar in the show. “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” debuts Wednesday on Apple TV.
