LONDON CALLING: Maria Grazia Chiuri is returning to Harrods with two Fendi pop-up stores and a series of window displays on Brompton Road.

The two ground-floor boutiques will showcase items from the fall 2026 collection, and it aims to exude “traditional Italian warmth and hospitality”; tap into the “artistic and architectural codes of Rome,” and offer guests an “immersive experience in the handcrafted world of the Roman maison.”

The takeover will run from Friday to Sept. 26.

Fendi also plans to fill the Brompton Road windows with a set that recalls the look of Chiuri’s debut collection for the brand, which was shown in Milan in February. Fendi will take over the exterior facade and the full run of the 24 windows on the Knightsbridge street.

There will be nine dressed windows and four vitrines showcasing the women’s and men’s collection, alongside four lightboxes and four digital windows featuring campaign visuals from the American artist Jo Ann Callis.

Inside, the first pop-up space has been designed as a tribute to Chiuri’s fall 2026 collection. It will offer a selection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories. Harrods is also the exclusive launch partner of the My Peekaboo and Baguette 26424 Re-edition bags done in the brand’s Selleria heritage, hand-stitched leather. The Trunk Selleria will also be on display.

In the second space, the Baguette bag will take center stage. The pop-up showcase more than 20 designs of the Baguette 26424 Re-edition in a wide range of colors and textures.

The three-week event is set to be action-packed, with Fendi presenting daily live demonstrations aimed at showcasing the craftsmanship behind the two reeditions.

Customers can learn about the intricate needle techniques of Mumbai-based Chanakya, a partner in crafting the Baguette since 1997. They can also gaze closely at the hand-stitching on the Peekaboo Selleria done by specialist craftsmen from the maison’s leather goods atelier in Capannuccia, Florence.

Chiuri is no stranger to Harrods.

In her years as creative head of Dior womenswear, the French brand staged a series of pop-ups and events at the store, the largest of which was a gingerbread world and immersive experience that traced the history of Christian Dior, his family and career. As part of that holiday project, Dior took over 44 windows, the facade of the Knightsbridge store, a café and two pop-up shops.
