Fendi is gearing up for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics with its new Winter Sports capsule collection for men and women, featuring sustainable techwear along with bags and winter accessories.
As the Winter Olympics approach, Fendi brings a collection to accompany it. With an emphasis on highly functional ski wear and the style sensibilities of the brand, Fendi’s capsule collection plays to both performance quality and winter aesthetics.
Invoking the vital spirit of the Tiger, the animal of this year’s Chinese Calendar, the collection features a black and white tiger print motif on multiple pieces from the women’s collection including a reversible ski jacket and trouser set. Sustainably made, the jackets are of recycled polyester and regenerated duck feathers.
Seasonal colors of airy whites, cool greys, and icy blues accompany the tiger motif, which can be seen in men's and women’s looks. The signature Fendi monogram also makes an appearance, but with a technical twist: the Hydro FF print. Once interacted with water, the previously light appearance of the logo activates to full opacity. The Hydro FF print is featured on a resilient men's ski suit that withstands water and wind. The collection also offers winter jackets and trousers insulated with Thermore® Thermal Booster for men.
Women’s pieces also include jersey t-shirts and 100 percent cashmere sweaters, as well as new accessories that feature the tiger motif on Fendi Match Sneakers as well as Fendi’s beloved Mini Peekaboo and Baguette bags.
Other accessories include slopes-ready helmets, goggles, and gloves, as well as more casual options with beanies and wool scarves embroidered with the Fendi Roma script.
