FENTY, Rihanna’s eponymous label, upgrades our eyewear once more with two new releases for fall: The Screenplay and Director’s Cut frames. The first new style, the Screenplay, is a frisky yet novel old Hollywood glamour take on cat-eye shape frames. With the signature FENTY twist, as only Rihanna and her team can create, these lenses are edgy. The lenses extend beyond the inner border of the frame and wrap around the outside edge and add a flash of lens color to the profile. Screenplay comes in two colorways: jet black with baby blue lenses or shiny ivory with solid green lenses.
Director’s Cut is a reconceptualization of the brand’s staple Blockt sunglasses, which features an upside-down frame design with lenses cutting out just shy of the frame, creating side slits at the edge.
With the name of the shades deriving from the sliced lenses, this style is pure FENTY with its relentless attitude. Director’s Cut comes in two colorways: jet black with matching lenses or shiny ivory with solid green lenses. Both pairs feature the FENTY monogrammed tips.
