JACK WHITE IS THE NEWEST FACE OFCELINE’S “PORTRAIT OF A MUSICIAN" SERIES

HEDI SLIMANE’S PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES CONTINUES WITH A COLLECTION OF IMAGES FEATURING THE MUSICIAN WEARING CELINE HOMME.

Celine Creative Director Hedi Slimane has tapped American singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer Jack White as the latest face of his “Portrait of a Musician” series whose previous stars include Hennessy, Leikeli47, and Gus Dapperton. In a compilation of black and white photos, White can be seen as an effortlessly cool image of Celine Homme, posed in a car, a garden, and in the studio holding a custom blue sparkly Telecaster.

Whether donning a sharply tailored suit or edgy leather jacket, White encapsulates the sophisticated youthful vibe so prevalent in Slimane’s designs. The duo have history, too; Slimane has photographed White since he was lead singer and guitarist of the White Stripes, following him to The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and into his journey as a solo artist.

Through a variety of creative concepts and executions, Slimane uses each portrait series to humanize and highlight the artists as they complement and bring new meanings to Celine Homme designs.
