Raye stars in the latest Timberland campaign. Singer/songwriter Raye has partnered with Timberland to launch their new Delphiville trainer.

The 21-year-old became the face of the iconic footwear brand last year and has released an exclusive short film, set in the tropical palm house at Kew Gardens, to introduce the highly anticipated shoes.

Speaking about the new campaign, Raye revealed that filming in Kew Gardens was ‘really fun,’ saying: “It was nice being in the warm around all the nature compared to the city outside which was particularly cold and horrible the day we shot.”

In the video, as well as reflecting upon her experiences, influences and choices, she also performs a brief snippet of her new single, ‘Confidence’.

Revealing the story behind the song, Raye said: “The feeling of the song is about making you feel happy and positive and uplifted, it’s important to feel confident and empowered as a young woman in a man’s world.”

The ‘Friends’ singer also revealed how she feels about being a role model for younger fans, saying: ” had a lot of role models growing up and I have a long strong powerful women in my life. Being a role model to other young women is pretty cool and if I can inspire anybody through the music I make or the journey I’ve taken and people watching me on that journey, it feels amazing and I want other people to feel like they can achieve it too.”
