Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence and More Breezed Through Airy Looks During Paris Fashion Week

Leave it to the spring 2027 presentations at Paris Fashion Week to curry the most airy and elegant attire from front-row celebrity guests. Airy styles were trending during the latest edition of Paris Fashion Week, featuring the likes of Zendaya and Jennifer Lawrence, among others, opting for delicate fabrics, designs and soft colorways.
A weightless quality and effortless light are just two of the touchstones that define the airy trend. Zendaya’s and Lawrence’s looks carried those elements in abundance, along with other celebrity style moments. WWD breaks down the ways in which the trend showed up in Paris ahead.
Zendaya
Zendaya concluded the airy elegant style spree several celebrities embraced on Tuesday night during the Louis Vuitton spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection show. The actress referenced her July press tour for “The Odyssey,” wearing a cropped bolero featuring frilled lace detail from the French luxury fashion house.
The piece incorporated several airy facets, most noticeably a white fabric softened by lacy detailing and delicate craftsmanship. Styled by Law Roach, Zendaya’s attire received the laid-back luxury treatment with a white tank top and low-rise, wide-leg blue jeans with pointed-toe white satin pumps.
Ines de Ramon
Ines de Ramon elevated the airy trend with a pop of color in a Chloé design for the French luxury fashion house’s spring 2027 presentation on Oct. 1. Featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline and flowing silhouette, the blue dress was crafted with semi-sheer fabric and a bevy of ruffles on at the hemline of the flowing skirt, accentuating the dress’ airy energy with even more feminine details.
Maude Apatow
Another look from the Chloé show, Maude Apatow added a touch of structure to her minidress moment. The “Euphoria” star wore a warm, buttery yellow minidress with a white, ornately designed bib element embellishing the front of the bodice. The knit piece was playful, yet elegant, providing enough room for the airy qualities to take the spotlight.
Jennifer Lawrence helped kick off the airy trend at the Christian Dior spring 2027 show on Sept. 29. The Oscar-winning actress wore a sleeveless dress in a soft blue tone embroidered with floral elements throughout and featuring delicate lace detailing at the hemline and neckline.
